Charles Amazon is an M.S. student in the Department of Earth and Environmental Sciences at Brooklyn College. He completed his B.S. in General Geology at the University of Texas at Austin, where he worked at the Texas Vertebrate Paleontology Collections. His undergraduate research ranged from describing Pleistocene bat faunas from Central Texas caves to investigating the functional morphology of ventral keels in teleost fishes. He is interested in mammal diversification following the Cretaceous-Paleogene mass extinction and is currently studying Paleocene archaic ungulates from the Fort Union Formation of southeastern Montana.
