Giannina Tobal concentrated in biological anthropology as an undergraduate student at Brooklyn College. She was most interested in aspects of paleoanthropology and primatology. Giannina has spent time searching for fossils in previously recovered matrix from Montana. Most recently, she generated, analyzed, and printed 3D digital models from micro-CT scans of early primate fossils.
