Karen Cuevas received her bachelor’s degree in Anthropology from Brooklyn College. Her research interests include primate origins, functional morphology, and the primate sensory system. As a member of the Mammalian Evolutionary Morphology Laboratory, Karen starred in the PBS NOVA documentary Rise of the Mammals. She then went on to pursue a Ph.D. in biological anthropology on a prestigious fellowship at the University of Texas, Austin.
